Date Night Lackland AFB
by PCSgrades Staff - October 22nd, 2017
One of the perks of military life is being stationed in parts of the country and around the world in places you would probably never get a chance to experience otherwise. If you and your spouse have a habit of Date Nights, there are some unique and fun things to do around Lackland AFB.
The romantic easy date night
Watch the sunset over the San Antonio skyline from atop the 750-foot-tall Tower of the Americas. Then continue enjoying the spectacular view in panorama while breaking bread at the Chart House, a revolving restaurant.
The scary date night
If you like to be scared out of your minds then Sisters Grimm is the date for you. There are several different spooky tour options, like the Ghost Walk and a ghostly dinner package. The Ghost Bus tour is the only tour that’s adults-only. History comes to life on the Haunted History Walk through the streets of old San Antonio as the stories of centuries past are recounted.
The competitive date night
Those that like a little competition can play a round at Cool Crest Mini Golf. Those that like to putt have been challenging each other for the last 88 years. The courses are shaded from the harsh sun and prices are very reasonable at $9 for adults. Throw in some tasty snacks and you’ve just scored a great date night!
The unique date night
The Exit Game Escape Room opened two years ago. The live escape rooms are designed to be both fun and challenging as well as to foster teamwork to the maximum degree. Escaping the room in 60 minutes is a fun and exciting time for you and your date.
The casual, we're just happy to be out of the house date night
No need to dress up to visit San Antonio’s first Urban Gourmet Food Truck Park. Located at The Historic Acapulco Drive Inn, Alamo Street Eat Bar provides gourmet eats and San Antonio draft favorites. After a casual meal, enjoy a leisurely walk to all your favorite Downtown locations.
