Quantico: Date Night

Everyone needs a Date Night every now and then. Some go out at least once a week, while others go once a month or once a quarter. However often you and your spouse get out of the house, check out these fun suggestions for a memorable Date Night Quantico.
Date night Quantico
If biking is your thing, a Fredericksburg Cycling Tour is a great way to stay active while learning about the local history. You have a choice of 3, 9, or 20 mile rides led by professional cyclists. Bike through F-Burg with its historic homes and other buildings on display.
A sporty date night
If your significant other loves baseball, plan an outing to G Richard Pfitzner Stadium, home of minor league team, the Potomac Nationals. Just ten miles north of Quantico in Woodbridge, the stadium features a main concession stand, a press box, restrooms, a picnic area and fireworks on Saturdays in the summer.
The wine lover's date night
Potomac Point Winery in Stafford, VA offers a wide variety of award-winning wines. You can enjoy a wine tasting and grab a bite to eat at the on-site bistro. If you have to bring the kids along, they have a space adjacent to the Tasting Room for little ones, complete with books, toys and bean bags.
A whiskey date night
If wine isn’t your thing, plan a visit to George Washington’s Distillery & Gristmill in Mount Vernon. You can learn more about the 18th century process used to make whiskey April through October. Washington’s was the largest distillery in America at its time.
The romantic date night
What could be more romantic than a carriage ride through downtown Fredericksburg? Olde Towne Carriage Tours even offers a single, wrapped rose and specialty chocolates for $20 additional. Follow up your carriage ride with a romantic dinner at the Bistro at Vaudeville, European atmosphere with new American comfort food. Or enjoy a steak at the Cabernet Grill Texas Wine Country Restaurant on South State Highway 16.
A performance date night
There is no shortage of places to see a concert or stage play in Virginia or downtown D.C. The Riverside Center in Fredericksburg is home to both a dinner and children’s theater.
The visual and performance arts are combined at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton. Check their website for the latest live performance events.
The Lazy Susan Dinner Theater in Woodbridge offers full-scale musical stage plays along with an extensive buffet with appetizers, hot entrees made from scratch, and homemade desserts.
A haunted date night
Fredericksburg has had its share of ghost stories passed down through the generations. A Ghosts Of Fredericksburg Tour takes you through haunted streets and buildings.
